Let’s face facts, unless you’re a freak athlete or born into a rich family, you will end up working till you die. One day, I realized that this was my fate, and grew to really appreciate what I had been given. Growing up as the youngest of three children with a single mother had its ups and downs, literally. Apartments, farm houses, trailers, you name it. I have moved 21 times in my 20 years of living. You may feel that is a shocking statistic, but besides a brief semester at Northern Michigan University, I never moved out of Boyne City. My last move was into an apartment where my oldest brother already lived. The move was smooth, except I had to carry my bed and box-spring up a flight of stairs. Graduated from Boyne City High School in 2009. I’ve had the same job since, at a local Mexican restaraunt people love, Red Mesa Grill. Its actually a great job, considering most people seem to look down at restaraunt workers. I love my job, I make enough money to save for the future, and also have fun in the present.
